Welcome to IRLP Node 8080

This is an open IRLP Node, no secret codes are required.  An amateur radio license is required.

Here are some operating suggestions:

  1. Monitor the frequency for a few moments to see if its in use.
  2. All Amateur Radio regulations apply!
  3. Always ID before pressing a number on keypad (courtesy requirement, not a legal requirement)
  4. Identify yourself and enter the four digit IRLP node/reflector you would like to contact.
  5. Wait for the connect message from the remote node/reflector
  6. Listen for at least 15 seconds to make sure the node/reflector isn't busy.
  7. Always press the PTT at least 2 seconds before talking.
  8. Pause 2 seconds between transmissions.
  9. Remember #8!
  10. When finished, please identify yourself and enter 73 on the DTMF keypad to disconnect.
  11. Use the node often! Have Fun!
This node also supports Echolink Stations.
This is station W9IKU-L (448080)
  1. Monitor the frequency for a few moments to see if its in use.
  2. All Amateur Radio regulations apply!

  4. Identify yourself and enter the echolink prefix "*" plus the echolink station you would like to contact.
  5. Wait for the connect message from the echolink station.
  6. Listen for at least 15 seconds to make sure the node/reflector isn't busy.
  7. Always press the PTT at least 2 seconds before talking.
  8. Pause 2 seconds between transmissions.
  9. Remember #8!
  10. When finished, please identify yourself and enter 73 on the DTMF keypad to disconnect.
  11. Use the node often! Have Fun!
